You insert a text field by clicking the appropriate button in the toolbar :
The cursor then changes to the cross-hair cursor.
You need to click and drag to create the text field. To resize or move the field, switch to the object mode, click on the field and drag.
To enter the text, switch to the text mode and click on the field. Note that these text fields benefit from all the nice Cocoa features. You can use the « Font » and « Text » menu item of the « Objects » menu to change attributes. See TextEdit 's documentation for details.
You insert a picture by clicking the appropriate button in the toolbar :
The WordsCrosser prompts for a picture file. The cursor changes to the cross-hair cursor and the picture is created like a text field. Note that you can also paste a picture copied from another software.
The picture is embedded as is in your document. If you insert or copy a big picture, don't be surprise if your document becomes big as well. Note that resizing it from The WordsCrosser does not change the actual size of the picture but only the frame of its container in the layout of the page.
